For posts where the outside of the post is accessible. This fitting is threaded and can be tensioned.

For posts that inside face fitting only is required. This fitting is threaded and can be tensioned.
|
|
For posts that require fitting to inside face of the post. This fitting cannot be tensioned.

STEP 2 - MEASURE YOUR POSTS

AA (outside - outside)
BB (inside - inside)
BC (inside - inside)
AB (outside - inside)
AC (outside - inside)

STEP 3 - ORDER YOUR REQUIREMENTS
Simply provide your measurement to your local Midcoast branch. As this is a custom
manufactured product, allow 2 to 3 days for production.

STEP 4 - INSTALL
The installation of your new balustrade is simple. First mark the location of your holes.
|
|

1) Drill a 9 mm hole completely through your post.
2) Thread the wire through all posts, attach the end fittings and tension using an Allen key.
|
|

1) Drill a 3 mm pilot hole on inside face of post, being careful not to drill right through your post.
2) Screw in the eyelet provided and attach fitting.
3) Tension with two spanners.
|
|
Important: All fittings (A, B and C) should be tensioned to 10 mm deflection and definitely not over tensioned as this may damage your posts.
|
