Midcoast Timber Centres has adopted a position of social awareness which recognises the resources from which it draws its customers and workforce.  Key programs which underpin this are:

TAFE NSW Scholarship
Midcoast Timber Centres provides 5 scholarships each year to encourage young men and women to take up the vocational training opportunities provided for by TAFE and to provide necessary human resources to contribute value to the building and construction industries.

Midcoast Timber Centres makes this contribution to education knowing that it is from such student populations that it draws its employees and its future customers. 

Community Programs
Midcoast Timber Centres also contributes to the community within which it works, supporting vital community projects.  Often these projects are entered in to with the support of its customers, and often customers are encouraging and soliciting support to which Midcoast Timber Centres invariably responds positively.

Like all companies, the philanthropic endeavors of the company are planned and calculated to ensure productive outcomes for the recipient, and this does mean that Midcoast Timber Centres cannot always respond to all requests for support.
